The Mission

Creer is a purpose-driven retail space that enriches lives by encouraging mindful purchasing and fostering community.

The Inspiration

Creer is a Spanish-derived word meaning: to believe. By no coincidence, Creer is the owner, Courtney’s last name, and the namesake of this boutique. Belief is an ongoing personal journey for Courtney and the foundation of this brand. Believing in herself through her style and intentional practices have allowed Courtney to tap into her greater purpose, shining a light on her gifts and desire to serve others. Courtney’s goal through Creer is to aid in the self-development of women, by utilizing style and community.

For the past seven years, Courtney has honed her skills as a freelance costumer & stylist for film and commercials working with clients like Southwest Airlines, AT&T March Madness, TLC, and many more. While working as a wardrobe stylist, Courtney has spent over six years in retail management and buying/merchandising for Alternative Apparel and Paradies Lagardere. Courtney has a wide range of knowledge in the fashion industry with experience working with clothing wholesalers, garment manufacturers, fashion designers, and consumer electronics. The sum of these experiences truly integrates the key disciplines for running a successful business: sales, finance, and management.

A graduate with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology, Courtney attended Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia. Courtney resides in Atlanta and has committed to giving back to the city and community that has given her so much.
